Mission Statement

Welcome to the Human Resources Department! Our goal is to provide the community with a well qualified, diverse and safe workforce committed to providing excellent customer service. The Human Resources Team is responsible for administration of a comprehensive merit Personnel System and the City’s Risk Management Program in support of City departments and for the community we proudly serve.

  • Employee / Employer Relations including labor relations, negotiations and contract administration
  • Benefits Administration including medical, dental, life insurances, retirement (PERS), deferred compensation and leaves

  • Safety Programs and Training
